About Us

Founded and duly registered in 2022, The Godwill Duutle Educational Foundation (GDEF) is a Non Governmental Organisation dedicated to encouraging and providing opportunities for vulnerable and indigent children to access formal and informal elementary education in order to foster overall broad base development, with emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

GDEF is located at; 54T Kufang, Miango Road, Adjacent ITF Area Office Jos, Plateau State. Nigeria.

The core values and guiding principles in GDEF is embedded in the acronym S.T.R.E.E.T, which stands for;

Armed with these values, GDEF has been able to render support and interventions to some select schools in Pankshin Local Government Areas and environs. Such interventions include;

  • Donation of teaching and writing materials to LEA Primary School, Panyam
  • Renovation of a block of classroom in EKAS Abwor-Dyis
  • Support in completion of a Laboratory in NSA Pankshin
  • Conducting the first ever Inter Primary School Quiz Competition in Pankshin
  • A workshop for on STEM for Primary School teachers
  • A scholarship for Ten (10) indigent students for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

LONGTONG YADOK GODWILL

Mr Yadok, Longtong Godwill is the Executive Chairman of the Foundation. He is a seasoned career Civil Servant with over two decades of work experience in the administrative sector of the Higher Educational Institution in Nigeria. He is an alumnus of the prestigious University of Jos (UniJos) Jos, Plateau State, where he received a Bachelors Degree In Geography (2001). He also obtained a double Masters in Public Administration (2012) and Business Administration (2010) from the University of Jos and Open University of Nigeria respectively.

Mr Yadok, also received Post Graduate Diplomas and Certificates from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, CisCo Academy and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and is currently running a Professional Diploma in Education. His quest for knowledge and further professional development and improvement is never in doubt.

Zenret Yadok is the brainchild and founder of the foundation. His passion for education and healthcare is instrumental for setting up the foundation.

He is on the board with a rich and vast experience in Healthcare, Research, and Business both home and abroad.

Mr Zenret is an alumnus of the University of Jos where he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology and Mining. Afterwards his quest for knowledge led him into the deep and wide field of PublicHealth where he earned a Bachelor of Science – Nursing from Queens University of Charlotte and a Master of Science – Public Health from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte all in the USA. He also acquired a Post Graduate Degree from the Villanova University in Pennsylvania, USA and worked in various sectors in the healthcare for the past 15 years.

Nandak Godwill Yadok, CNA from plateau state was born in Gindiri, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State on the 25th  day of March  ,1982 to the family of Mr and Mrs Godwill Iliya Yadok of Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State. She attended Our Lady of Fatima Private School Pankshin, in Plateau State from 1989 to 1995 where she obtained her first school leaving certificate then proceeded to Girls High School Gindiri from 1995 to 2001 and obtained Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), in her quest for further education, she enrolled into the University of Jos from 2002 to 2004, 2005 to 2008, 2015 to 2018 for (Diploma, BSc, and MSc) respectively and she is currently pursuing her PhD at Bayero University Kano. She also went to Nigerian College of Accountancy Jos from 2009 to 2010 where she obtained Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Accounting.

Longji Dashuwa comes to the board as Secretary with a simple cognate experience in the private and corporate world. He posses a sturdy institutional awareness  and background gotten from the Financial Services Industry.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science – Geology and Mining from the University of Jos and worked over the years in Zenith Bank, OperationRainbow (a Plateau State Task Force on Peace and Security) and  Ndang Farms LTD, Jos Plateau.

Mr Dashuwa is an amiable, simple and  purpose driven individual that values honesty, personal integrity and corporate governance who is amenable to new ideas and learning.

Manji Ephraim Rengshwat has more than 15years professional experience in development field with a focus on areas that include Program Management, Health System Strengthening, Institutional System Strengthening, Financial & Grant Management, Peacebuilding and Conflict Mitigation, Capacity Development, and Household Economic Strengthening. Manji has worked on projects funded by donors that include USAID, BMGF, CHEVRON and UN Women with a focus on Health (OVC, MNCH, PMTCT), Livelihood, Governance, Natural Resources and Peace Building.

Manji has held several leadership positions as Program Manager, Director, and Advisor with local and international NGOs in Nigeria. He is currently the Nigeria Project Director on the USAID funded Global ACHIEVE Project implemented by consortium led by Pact and the Country Point of Contact for Pact-Nigeria.

Bizuum Yadok is a Nigerian author, novelist and poet who’s also a lecturer at Federal College of Education, Pankshin  in the department of English language. He holds both Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Master of Arts(M.A) degrees from the  University of Jos, and he is currently pursuing his PhD at the Federal University of Lafia, Nassarawa State. Bizuum was born on 11th October, 1984 to the family of Mr and Mrs Godwill Yadok at Amper, Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State. His birth was well celebrated on seeing that they were twins. His mother  was a teacher at Government Secondary School, Amper. She later moved to Pankshin, where Bizuum together with his twin brother, Biplang started their basic education. Bizuum attended Fatima Private School, Pankshin for his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) from 1990 – 1996. He proceeded to Government Science School, Kuru, Jos in 1996  where he sat for Junior Secondary Certificate Examination(JSCE) in  2000.
