GDEF BOARD PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO PANKSHIN LEA EDUCATION SECRETARY
The Board of the Godwill Duutle Educational Foundation (GDEF) paid a courtesy visit to the Education Secretary of Pankshin Local Education Authority (LEA), Hon. Bitrus Toma Moses, and his team. The visit was aimed at congratulating the newly appointed Education Secretary while introducing GDEF’s mission of advancing quality and innovative education in the region.
Led by the Board Chairman, Mr. Longtong Yadok, the delegation highlighted the foundation’s key achievements since its establishment in December 2022, including:
✔ Renovation of classrooms
✔ Donation of learning materials
✔ Awarding of scholarships to deserving students
✔ Teacher training programs
✔ Organization of quiz competitions to promote academic excellence
Mr. Yadok expressed GDEF’s commitment to supporting education in Pankshin and sought a collaborative partnership with the LEA to further enhance educational outcomes.
In his response, Hon. Bitrus Toma Moses commended the foundation’s efforts and pledged his full support for its initiatives, emphasizing the importance of private-sector involvement in education development.
The visit concluded with the presentation of GDEF souvenirs and a group photograph, symbolizing the beginning of a strong partnership for the betterment of education in Pankshin.
